In our Software Engineering Group, we look for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices.This role requires a wide variety of capabilities and experiences, including:Work on a multi-year strategic initiative and deliver technical solutions that will support Incremental and regional processing, flexible data analysis tools, trend analysis, full data transparency and drilldown, dynamic assumptions, workflow, fully automated explains.

Follow SDLC best practices such continuous integration, automated unit test and regression testing, etc and focus on end to end quality of the delivery.

Work collaboratively in a team with fellow developers, sharing ideas to solve complex and challenging business problems.

Be able to communicate effectively and work closely together with business clients, other technology teams, support partners and stakeholders to deliver and support business aligned solutions.

6+ years of professional experience

3+ years of Big Data experience

3+ years of Java experience

Strong OO skills

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Strong business analysis skills

Agile/Scrum methodology

Experience with big data stack Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Impala, Kafka, Cloudera/Hortonworks

Experience with database technologies - Oracle/MySQL, Cassandra

Experience with Languages - Java, Scala, Python

Familiar with development tools such as Eclipse, Bitbucket, Sqldeveloper/Toad, JIRA etc

Familiar with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM

Good to have knowledge of building Rest API (microservices) with Spring, Spring boot

Good to have knowledge in cloud computing
