Allied Consultants is an equal opportunities employer.ResponsibilitiesThe Developer (Java) position will report to the Director of the Medicaid/CHIP Systems team. This team is a part of the client's Information Technology - Applications. The Developer will assist with the Exceptional Item #8 initiative.This position will aid in the development and updating of selected applications in support of this initiative The development work will be conducted using the Java programming language.The developer’s responsibilities include:
  • Working with subject matter experts across the client's system to understand application requirements.
  • Working with team leads in designing, implementing, testing, and deploying assigned application tasks.
  • Resolving reported application defects.
  • Participating in code reviews.
  • Other duties as assigned.
