Grow your career as a Java Developer with an innovative global bank in Irving, TX. Long-term contract with excellent growth potential. Will be required to be onsite 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Reduce repetitive tasks and support activities & re-engineer support process where needed.
  • Develop scalable solutions using best practices.
  • Optimize and improve application support reliability through automation.

Qualifications:
  • Software Developer who can write a Shell Script or Python Script to automate.
  • Has an interest in automation, and has been exposed to writing Shell or Python scripts to automate batch jobs that were originally executed manually or wrote a script that analyzed log files.
  • 6+ years of software development experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Linux & Windows (Shell/Batch Scripting & Server Management), Java, .Net, LDAP, Active Directory, Oracle/SQL Server database (SQL, backup & recovery).
  • 1+ year of exposure to AI/ML, NLP (Natural Language Processing) is a plus.
  • Exposure to conversational and other BOTS is a plus.
  • Interested in hands-on programming/scripting work.
  • Strong understanding of various automation tools/solutions used in production support organization.
  • Exposure to Cloud-based technologies and frameworks.
  • Working to deep knowledge of financial products and financial industry experience.
