Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Java Developer for an opportunity with a client located in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing Java-based applications
  • Analyzing user requirements to inform application design
  • Defining application objectives and functionality
  • Aligning application design with business goals
  • Developing and testing software
  • Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise
  • Producing detailed design documentation
  • Recommending changes to existing Java infrastructure
  • Developing multimedia applications
  • Developing documentation to assist users
  • Ensuring continuous professional self-development

Requirements:

  • Application development with Spring Framework IOC and AOP, Java, J2EE, Oracle, SQL, Web Services, Rest Services, XML, JSON
  • Expertise in Oracle, PL/SQL, Java, Hibernate, Webservices (SOAP and REST), Messaging, Spring, Spring batch and other Spring related technologies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.
  • Good analytic skills, flexibility and the ability to adapt to emerging technologies and tools.
  • Deliver reproducible builds with a design emphasis onreusability, maintainability and efficiency
  • Ability to investigate and recommend best practices andprocess improvements
  • Detail oriented and able to debug complex errors
  • Ability to foster strong collaboration among teammembers and multitask effectively
