Professional software development experience

Solid development experience in core Java

Experience developing Distributed Systems

Good understanding of the software development process

Excellent communication skills

Strong understanding and experience in the following areas:

Java core containers/data structures

Ability to understand and rapidly implement efficient algorithms

Multi-threading

Design patterns: when they are applicable, and their boundaries
