Job Title: Technical Lead Java Developer

Location: Dallas, TX

Job Description:Capgemini is looking for a Lead Java Developer to join our team in Dallas. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of strong hands-on experience in Java J2EE and 5 years of strong experience in Spring frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Data, etc. and Hibernate JPA. The candidate should have strong experience in building and deploying scalable enterprise-level applications and microservices architecture and implementation.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality software design and architecture
  • Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
  • Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
  • Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
  • Review and debug code
  • Perform validation and verification testing
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify system requirements
  • Write technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications

Requirements:
  • 8 years of strong hands-on experience in Java J2EE
  • 5 years of strong experience in Spring frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Data, etc. and Hibernate JPA
  • Strong experience in building and deploying scalable enterprise-level applications
  • Strong experience in microservices architecture and implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication skills; ability to work as a team player
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently

Nice to have:
  • Banking knowledge (Risk Compliance KYC is an advantage)
  • Experience with SQL Oracle DB
  • Experience with one of the messaging services like JMS Kafka Tibco RabbitMQ
  • Experience with SQL PL SQL and should be able to write complex queries
  • Experience with GWT and Web services will be an added advantage
  • Experience with JUnit testing and mocking techniques
  • Experience with SDLC processes Waterfall Agile Docker OpenShift Git Bitbucket SonarQube
  • Good experience in Delivery Quality Security Standards is an advantage
