Job Title: Java Full Stack Engineer (Azure)

Location: Raleigh, NC / Merrimack, NH / Dallas, TX

Duration: Fulltime with Capgemini

Capgemini is looking for a Java Full Stack Engineer with experience deploying distributed application on Azure Cloud platform. The Java Full Stack Engineer would be responsible to designing and developing Cloud Native applications using 15-factor principles.

Required Skills:Java/J2EE, RESTful API, SOAP APIs development, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Jax-WS and JAX-RS Webservice development, Apache OpenJPA, Camel, JSP, JavaScript, Azure Cloud, PostgreSQL

Responsibilities:
  • Work with product owners and squad leaders in Agile development to ideate software solutions.
  • Design client-side and server-side architecture
  • Develop cloud native distributed applications meeting the product requirements.
  • Write APIs that meets both the functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Test software to ensure functionality, performance, and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure team to install the applications to Azure Cloud Platform

Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in design and development of Java/J2EE based applications.
  • 6+ years of experience with Java/J2ee, Spring Boot Framework & Hibernate and design techniques in a large environment(s) with understanding of distributed concepts, patterns, cloud concepts and multi-threading.
  • 6+ Strong experience with Restful/Rest API – Microservices. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes frameworks is a plus.
  • API Security certification, authentication, authorization, IP security setup, and endpoint configuration and implementations.
  • Experience working within

    Cloud environment (Azure / AWS)
  • Experience building Serverless application and deploying and configuring Azure Functions or similar Serverless deployments in Azure.
  • Strong relational database experience with ability to design/understand design tables, Complex SQL & data workflows.
  • Strong experience in implementing highly scalable streaming and event processing solution. Proven experience in event streaming and messaging platforms like Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ or other equivalent platforms.
  • Experience working with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or equivalent relational database platforms.
  • Test Driven Development, Design Driven Development, Cloud Native Development.
  • Designing Test Strategies and writing test automation scripts for unit testing and integration testing.
  • Experience with Agile tools & technologies (Scrum, JIRA, and Confluence)
  • Good understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery
  • Self-starter, experience working in a globally distributed, agile work culture.
  • Financial Services domain experience in benefit management, investment management, retirement solutions is a plus.
