Job Title – Sr. UX/UI Front End Developer

Location - Houston, Texas

Duration: 12+ Months

The Front End Developer position is responsible for developing and styling new and existing web-based applications. The projects will center on the functionality for the company’s external web sites and intranet portal. The position will also involve handling support requests, interfacing with customers, and collaborating with team members.

Qualifications:
  • Strong skills in front end web development with a solid understanding of CSS.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Have a focus on UI/UX.
  • Be able to collaborate with other members of the team to find solutions.
  • Understands the trade-offs between making something perfect versus getting it done.
  • Action oriented and able to contribute code day 1.

Requirements:
  • 8+ year’s experience in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • 5+ year’s experience with modern front end frameworks. Primarily React, but experience with Angular would be helpful.
  • Proficient with consuming RESTful services.
  • Experience with implementing responsive design.
  • Be able to take a visual design and develop and style an engaging front end.

Plus:
  • Experience with SASS or SCSS.
  • Experience with Git.
  • Experience with WCAG / ADA guidelines.
