POSITION: Junior Assistant Construction Manager

The Construction Manager will help manage and coordinate construction-related projects for various Allpro Consulting group’s clients along with other duties. He or she will report to construction managers and project managers with reports and status updates

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

0 to 2 years of experience in construction management, preferrable in the Telecom Cellular Tower Industry

Strong cost estimating skills

Strong MS Office software skills

Project Scheduling Experience required

Be able to travel to sites and meetings

Strong written & oral communication skills are required.

Meeting clients to go over project details and requirements

Work with team internally to report progress of projects and oversee invoicing in a timely manner

Business development as needed

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: B.S Civil Engineering preferred

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Responsibilities:

1.) Be able to manage all aspects of third party / contractors for tower structural modification or new construction work.

2.) Work with engineering department on engineering design packages and provide cost estimate range for the construction.

3.) This position requires strong MS Excel Skills

4.) Strong Cost Estimating Skills are required for this position

5.) Be able to generate POs and NTPs

6.) Review design drawings, redline and comment as needed

7.) Identify General Contractors in market

8.) Verify all received quotes for from GC

9.) Research Building Permits and apply for building permits as necessary

10.) Monitor progress

11.) Schedule and attend progress meetings

12.) Obtain & submit closeout packages

13.) Monitor and report progress on a daily basis.

14.) Work with accounting to Invoice projects

15.) Be available for travel and site visits

16.) Be available for travel to business development meetings

17.) Be in charge of GC/vendor safety and regulatory compliances

18.) Utility coordination

19.) This is primarily an office based position. Some travel required.
