Genuent is hiring a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst for our direct client located in the Sugar Land, TX area. This is a full-time direct hire position. You will coordinate and train individuals in the use of and provide expertise about the full capability of department reports and databases. Additionally, you will be part of improving business processes and driving success for the organization.You'll also be responsible for:
- Designs, develops, formats, and prepares management information and reports
- Extend the reporting solution
- Create new standard or modify existing reports
- Identify and deploy fixes within reports
- Put on a new data element - identifying system of record where data element is
- Develop integration solution to move from DW to reporting
- Designs, develops, tests, and coordinates the creation of programs and databases
- Learn and work within defined best practices
- Collects data and ensure data integrity
- Identify opportunities for improving business processes through use of our software and services
- Be a part of the testing process of software applications
- Ensuring robust communication between testing teams and development team
- 1-2 years with SSRS and SSIS
- Familiarity with Power BI and SSAS
- Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1 year experience in these 4 areas
