We are looking to hire a
Kafka Digital Product Owner/Analyst who has experience in integration using API's with help of messaging tools such as MQ or Kafka or RabbitMQ or Tibco. This is a Hybrid role and based in Austin, TX. We need candidates from 30 miles of Austin, TX only. Looking for a candidate that was a developer before switching to a PO. One that has the coding and technical skills still Local/relocation to Austin or Westlake ONLY for now (won't be required to come in quickly, but must be able to come in when needed like during quarterly planning) Duration:11 month(s) DescriptionDigital Messaging team is responsible for the digital messaging to clients through our platform and services at scale. Our digital experience is the way that most clients interact with us daily, and were passionate about building the best experience possible for our users. You'd be working directly with the tech teams to handle technical driven migrations, upgrades, and updates.- You will be responsible for the tactical execution of the project(s).- You will be responsible for managing multiple technology backlogs, writing user stories, and managing dependencies to keep the project on track- You will champion Agile methodologies, participating as the business analyst roles in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, backlog prioritization, user story preparation and demos.- Collaboration, development and management of functional features, user stories, high level requirements and detailed level requirements to drive solutions- You will work cross-functionally with technical, design, business, and compliance counterparts to define product refinements and updates based on ongoing client-driven needs analysis. - You are excited to learn new technologies across teams- You are focused on execution first and foremost to make sure delivery is successful- You are interested in driving innovation from your teams to build and improve app and processes where they see value- You are comfortable with the concepts of Web Services and API technologies- You will be working on integration of cloud services with internal applications and/or databases, including but not limited to integration layers and security layers.- Hands-on in configuring new technical functionality; hands-on in validating functionality and configurations.- Identify, prioritize, and deliver tactical and long-term technical solutions to maximize the business value.- Facilitate functional design for release planning objectives and vision with multiple scrum teams & stakeholders. Required skills and qualifications:- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Analyst who has led teams in a complex enterprise environment where successful projects often require coordination across multiple teams - Product Strategy Experienced in building and aligning leadership and stakeholders on product capability strategy - Servant Leadership Able to garner respect from your team, lead and demonstrate value-add principles, and willing and able to get your hands dirty to get the job done - Client-centricity Ensure client-driven solution design across user pain points and ecosystem - Stakeholder Management Bridge the gap between client experience and platform development by proactively identifying stakeholders and gathering their inputs to inform product development - Agile - Ability to drive change, stay nimble and pivot to support new ways of doing things across organizational boundaries and shifting priorities - Product Execution - Strong track record of delivering ambitious products and strategic business capabilities in agile environment that move the needle and meet or exceed KPI goals.Technical Knowledge - Basic knowledge of databases, applications, and system integrations e.g. APIs, messaging queues (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ, MongoDB)- Experience using JIRA and Confluence, or equivalent tools is required- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in technical field- Knowledge of products, services, operations and/or support systems is a major plus
