    Job Description: Primary job is to assist specifically with LabVantage environment along with its SQL database with expertise in setup, test method generation and troubleshooting issues. Help to setup the requirement needed for a particular method, work on creating needed methods to meet the time frames expected, able to assist with issues users face day to day. Interface the LabVantage application with data input/output environment.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Responsible for the design, solution, and enterprise of the LIMS (LabVantage) application. • This is a senior level position, and involves responsibilities to design, build and support our current state as well as future state roadmap of the LIMS platform. • Requires performing advanced analysis and computer programming work involving all technical aspects of supporting, improving, and enhancing applications for large enterprise projects. • Help to setup the requirement needed for a particular method, work on creating needed methods to meet the time frames expected, able to assist with issues users face day to day. • Interface the LabVantage application with data input/output environment. • Performs other duties as required.

    POSITION OBJECTIVES: • Currently working LabVantage 8.3; moving to 8.8 • LabVantage - Software tools: Groovy language- SQL Laboratory Information Management System • Key contributor for LIMS Support, Technical analysis, testing, and assisting in the implementation of break fix solution LIMS system. • Interacts with and provides support to various business groups on issues related to the development of new functionality, or the production maintenance of our systems. • Works with PMO and IT leads in the execution of cross-functional projects and tasks priorities for LIMS implementation. • Assist and provide support in developing system, training, and knowledge base article for the LIMS platform.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • 5 years' experience with LabVantage application software is required. • 3 years' experience using scripting languages. • Ability to learn new technologies and application systems quickly. • Highly motivated individual and self-starter. • Team Player and willingness to learn new technologies and concepts. • • Strong analytical and detailed oriented. • Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
