36151BRExtended Job Title:Lead Administrator - User ExperiencePosition Description:Performs managerial work providing direction and guidance in setting and achieving goals and objectives; developing policies; reviewing guidelines, procedures, rules, and regulations; establishing priorities, standards, and measurement tools for determining progress in meeting goals; coordinating and evaluating program activities; and establishing and monitoring budgets. May plan, assign and supervise the work of others. Work with the User Experience Librarian to conduct user experience research. Duties may include but are not limited to research design, participant recruitment, data collection, and reporting in alignment with institutional guidelines.

Manage projects related to improving user experiences with library services, spaces, and resources. Duties may include but are not limited to project planning, reporting, creating documentation, and handoff. Document UX unit standards and processes.

Analyze data to answer stakeholder questions, identifying findings that inform the development of user-friendly websites and services.

Advocate for improved user experience and, where appropriate, accessibility to comply with the ADA. May consult, advise, and facilitate discussions to make improvements.

Serve on library teams and committees as a subject expert on user experience, the ADA, and as an advocate for library users. Consult with teams as needed.

Pursue professional development to inform enhancements to library services, spaces, and resources. Educate employees and students about user experience ADA guidelines and best practices.

Master's degree or higher in a related discipline.

Experience producing clear deliverables with actionable recommendations.

Strong organizational, project management, and planning skills.

Project coordination experience.

Experience with statistics collection and analysis and understanding tools and technologies relevant to evaluation, measurement, and assessment.

Experience using qualitative research methods.

Knowledge of website design and usability best practices and standards.

Creative thinker with strong personal interaction and facilitation skills.

Previous supervisory experience.

Proven ability and desire to work effectively as a member of a team.
