Lead Development ManagerThe Lead Development Manager is responsible for managing the analysis, programming and configuration of IT Systems Software. This job advises developers on best methods of software development and code creation. Working with the leadership team, this job provides project leadership for software development activities.Key Responsibilities and Duties

Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional products and engagement, motivation and development of team.

Monitors development work to make sure resulting software meets established goals.

Manages the identification of business needs, conducts requirements gathering, and defines scope and objectives for the IT System.

Manages the configuration, customization, diagnosis and enhancements of operating systems software.

Advises the development and implementation of new products, processes and operational plans.

Oversees training of users on new or modified software.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Required

Work Experience

5 Years Required; 7 Years Preferred

Career Level9PLMinimum Qualifications:

5+ years experience managing a team (Goals, Performance Reviews, etc.)

3+ years experience working with Agile teams

Experience implementing standards and procedures for Application Development

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience building business relationships (3 to 5 years)

Strong analytical skill

Good communication skills with technical and non-technical users

Degree in Actuarial Science or similar

Base Pay Range: $116,300/yr. - $193,800/yr.Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
