Our client in Houston, Texas is looking for an experienced application developer/lead to assist with custom application development and Integration. Our client primarily leverages modern technologies in the support of line-of-business applications for their Interstate and Intrastate Natural Gas business users.

Must have: Java, Microsoft SQL

Ability to work 100% onsite in Houston, Texas

location: Houston, Texas

salary: $90,000 - 150,000 per year

work hours: 8am to 5pm

education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

- Collaborating with management, other departments and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications

- Designing and developing software systems using best practices

- Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects

- Testing and deploying programs and applications

- Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software

- Participate in the on-call rotation
