Job Title: Lead Performance EngineerLocation: Plano TX (Day 1 onsite)Job Description Work would involve – 75% Coding & Delivery and 25% stakeholder co-ordination, planning, continuous improvement in Performance horizontal.This Performance Engineering team position is within the Engineering Quality group We are seeking highly experienced and skilled talent with proven record of accomplishment in software development that can apply those skills to performance testing and engineering.The candidate filling this position will be experienced and expertly able to script and run performance tests, diagnose, isolate, and solve complex performance and scalability runtime issues of highly scalable distributed software systems.In addition, this engineer will utilize their software engineering skills to design integrate and automate the performance testing analysis reporting process into the agile pipeline. Responsibilities and DeliverablesWork directly with primary stakeholders, Architects, App Developers, Performance Testers, Business units and Operations.Establish runtime performance standards and best practices.Review software designs architectures and code for scalability performance stability and compliance to standards.Define and create Performance test strategies, plans, scripts, summary interpretation, and execution oversight.Perform problem isolation root cause analysis optimizations and corrective actions.Develop processing tools and services to integrate, automate performance testing for microservices on cloud and monitor the engineering life cycleDesign test plans to support infra changes, upgrades, configuration changes and failover testing Basic Skills and TechnologiesHands-on experience in Performance Testing and tools like JMeter, Blazemeter, Locust & Flood.ioShould be able to write Performance Scripts to validate Load and Stress Testing.Should be able to code using Java to build supporting tools and customizations.Ability to lead by example , work independently and also be an individual contributor.
