Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Vice President for Information Technology Services, the Lead Senior Developer will provide the management and execution of application development projects that support Gibson Plumbing. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader, excellent communicator, have demonstrable expertise in project management and the minimum required technologies found below and be customer and team focused. Manage and supervise assigned technical staff and third-party vendors; work closely with stakeholders from across the company to define and implement technology enhancements and solutions. Responsible for planning, implementation, and programming of applications systems, including overall design, development, integration, and maintenance. Exercises direct supervision over application developers and third-party vendors.

What you will be doing:
  • Lead the migration of 2016 C# API scripts programmed to extended SAGE 100 Accounting\ERP application to latest 2022 MS ASP.NET core web API.
  • Implement and maintain separate development\staging\production environments for programming esting and delivering projects that add additional SAGE ERP 100 enhancements via a proprietary Provide-X business object interface (BOI).
  • Project Manage the ongoing SAGE 100 web application enhancement projects and coordinate with all stakeholders prior to and throughout the projects to final delivery and acceptance by department heads.
  • Maintain and support an in-house a PHP based web application used by 50+ employees to manage commercial projects.
  • Maintain the corporate WordPress\SeedProd designed website and YouTube platform.
  • Supervise and provides guidance, leadership and mentoring to one or more developers, establishing best practices, project milestones and monitoring progress.
  • Evaluate and implement additional business applications that may be requested.
  • Compile data and perform analysis; provide written and oral reports and proposals to management.
  • Develop and document application systems, back-up and disaster recovery procedures and recourses.

What you will need:
  • 4 Year Computer Science Degree or related experience
  • 4 6 years Experience in development, programming, implementation and support of:
  • C# API scripts
  • 2022 MS ASP.NET web API scripts
  • PHP applications (AJAX)
  • MS SQL & MS SQL Server
  • Sage 100 or Similar ERP
  • Sage proprietary Provide-X business object interfaces (BOI) (derivative of Business Basic)
  • Laravel (PHP) Platform
  • Night, weekend, and off-campus travel assignments may be required.
