About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer who has experience on SRE practice and DevOps automation, who enjoys and thrives on solving complex problems through innovation, supporting Consumer Technology Auto Finance organization. You will shift right in the Software Development Lifecycle Management to ensure quality, and shift left through Site Reliability Engineering to improve Availability enabling DevSecOps.You will be part of a team that helps drive technology transformation and adoption of SRE aligned enterprise capabilities and products, automate away complex issues and integrate with the latest technology. The engineers in the team leverage experience as software and system engineers to ensure availability of applications on-boarded to SRE, have full stack observability, introduce continuous improvement through code and automation, provide operational insight through analytics, continuous test are integrated with CI/CD and work with application teams to ensure products and service we provide are "always on". You will be responsible to drive vision, strategy, roadmap and support to improve availability and customer satisfaction aligning to the Wells Fargo Six-S Strategy (Security, Stability, Scalability, Speed, Satisfaction, Skills).In this role, you will:Apply technology background in software engineering and systems engineering to ensure the applications availability, have full-stack observability, are integrated with CI/CD and always-on by introducing continuous improvement through code and automation, continuous testing (performance, functional) and provide operational insight through analytics.

Collaborate with cross functional engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and implement automation to enable seamless delivery of the SDLC including system builds and software deployment.

Work with existing infrastructure and application stack and implement Continuous Delivery vision resulting in rapid, low risk releases and improved velocity.

Partnering with various areas of Technology to drive system process improvement.

Develop original and/or complex code, provide coding guidance/review, and create documentation.

Share support responsibilities for critical applications and customer journeys on-boarded to SRE including remediation of issues through Agile, conduct blameless post mortems, root cause analysis and introduce continuous improvement solving problems once and for all with the goal of no repeats.

Monitor and diagnose applications health and make sure operations are running without any problems/issues to support the development and deliverables of Auto Lending Technology applications.

Lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor.

Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors

Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

4+ years of scripting and automation experience.

4+ years of development experience with one or more of the following: Java, C, C#, C, or .NET

2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following Enterprise Pipeline Tools: uDeploy (Urbancode Deploy), TFS (Team Foundation Server) GIT, Sonar, Fortify, Blackduck.

Desired Qualifications:1+ year of Ansible experience

1+ year of experience in front end application development, operations and automation using one or a combination of the following: React, Redux, AngularJS, NodeJS

Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders.

An industry-standard technology certification.

Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.

4+ years of experience in Automation and Continuous Integration-Continuous Development (CI-CD) of Full Circle applications

Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban

Experience with full stack software development in a large, regulated enterprise environment including CI/CD pipelines and development best practices.

Experience with Container technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, PKS

Experience with one or more Technology Platforms (Cloud, o/s, etc): Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), AWS, Azure, Linux, VMWare.

Experience with Observability/Monitoring technologies: Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, Kafka, ELK, Prometheus, Cloudwatch, Dynatrace, DataDog
