It provides a 24-hour designated Level II trauma center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit, cardiac care services, women’s center, daVinci robotic surgery, neurosciences, pediatric care, rehabilitation therapy, sleep center, radiology, hyperbaric medicine, diagnostic/imaging services, and wound care facility.

What you will do in this role:

• Responsible for carrying out routine patient care assignments, working in controlled and/or uncontrolled patient care situations, performing established nursing care procedures, and engaging in therapeutic, rehabilitative, and preventive activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Responsible for knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for the applicable age specific populations.
• Applies knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span to identify patient and family requirements relative to age specific needs.
• Responsible for administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

What qualification you will need:

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current State of Texas LVN
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Healthcare Provider certification upon employment or within six months of employment
