Liferay Software Developer Career Opportunity!This position is part of a team that creates and maintains Liferay solution used for company administrative business functions and tasks. The job handles development and support of the new and existing intranet Portal. The ideal candidate will administer and enhance the company Intranet homepage. You will work with the intranet front ends, database and windows server group members as needed. The position will work with customers through the Systems Life Cycle Development stages.What Will You Be Doing?
  • Perform new or current existing web portal design/development/support activities.
  • Provide solutions based on understanding customer needs and schedule
  • Maintain Intranet Portal implemented by Liferay portal environment and establish standard guidelines to department admins for secure, supportable, reusable, service-oriented and performing solutions.
  • Keep to schedule following the software development lifecycle.
  • Balance development and maintenance tasks.
What Do You Need to Be Successful?
  • At least 3+ years’ experience developing and implementing enterprise-level Liferay solution.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Oracle or MS SQL.
  • 3+ years’ experience developing and implementing enterprise-level Liferay solution.
  • 3+ years’ experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, jQuery, JSON, and Web Services.
  • Ability to multitask development projects and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with MIS team and customers
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field.
