Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Logistics & Inventory Control Manager. This role is able to take place at our Eaton facilities in El Paso, TX or Charlotte, NC. Relocation assistance is able to be provided for candidates within the United States.The Logistics & Inventory Control Manager directs the operations of the warehouse/distribution center. Ensures inventory control procedures and systems are in place. Manages supply chain and vendors on product delivery expectations, transportation etc. Coordinates inventory management and product purchasing strategies to ensure that production needs are met. Handles distribution and fulfillment, freight forwarding, and serve as the primary contact for our suppliers and distributors. Focuses on continuous improvement methodologies within our warehouse network, investigate and provide solutions to productivity, quality, and service delivery issues. Manages multiple industrial engineering projects ensuring on-time completion according to schedule.The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Design warehouses (layouts, flow design, racking), including calculations to determine requirements of labor, capacity, pallet positions, racking, material handling systems and equipment, dock processing areas, etc.

Supports our business development, commercial and vertical leaders in the pursuit of opportunities to include direct client engagement, assistance in RFP/ RFQ development, solution design presentations, etc.

Demonstrated ability to manage people and projects.

Lead and participate on enterprise/site level projects to drive improvement/corrective action.

Coordination with our pricing team on the enhancement of our costing and pricing models, relevant assumptions, and scenarios.

Focuses on continuous improvement methodologies within our warehouse network, investigate and provide solutions to productivity, quality, and service delivery issues.

Knowledge of warehouse management systems and operations, data analytics, Industrial Engineering principles and concepts and lean methodology.

Manages multiple industrial engineering projects ensuring on-time completion according to schedule.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and create original analysis.

Strong interpersonal and consensus building skills.

Prior management experience preferred.

Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

At least 5 years of experience in a closely related industry.

Experience in a high mix, low volume production environment.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a manager of people.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management from an accredited institution.

APICS certification and Supervisor experience.

Thorough knowledge on MRP, lead times for specific component types, internal run rates, test development lead times, machine programming lead times and complete understanding of the chronological sequence of events that must occur in order to build a product.

Strong analytical capabilities, with a basic understanding of statistical analysis techniques.

Strong leadership, coaching and influence management skills.

Skills:

Administrative knowledge of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure analysis, and wage and salary administration.

Significant knowledge of the Eaton Business System and/or other contemporary business and manufacturing practices and processes.

Experience in methods and strategic industrial engineering practices.

Proven track record of building organizational capability and commitment to employee development.

Experience and knowledge of OpA and CIF Elements.

Strong leadership, motivational and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrate communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

Possess project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to organize/plan.

High energy level and drive for results.
