Position: Logistics & Support Coordinator

Location: Midland TX

The manager is looking for candidates with strong trucking logistics background.Any logistics experience will help but we also need to look at candidates with strong computer and communication skills.There is a lot of data management and candidates will have communications with clients and crews on a daily occurrence.

Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinators are responsible for ensuring safe and efficient logistics operations, Product Segments, and other subcontractors.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Coordination:- Participate in drilling morning meetings to review equipment and personnel requirements-Support cementing operations by coordinating material/supply/personnel activities with well site supervisors, drilling contractors, third-party contractors, and the operator to execute the work program with optimum efficiency.-Establish processes to efficiently receive, handle, respond to, track, and close-out cement blending requests.Operations:- Utilize daily forecast and activity plan to help schedule transportation requirements to meet project demands and provide needed material/equipment/personnel on time.-Help identify and ensure proper dispatching of equipment cement blends and personnel. Communicate daily with Well Engineers.Administrative:- Evaluate and modify material/personnel forms needed for efficient Track and monitor utilization of supply and cement personnel and equipment when applicable.-Manage and improve cement and blending material Request system.QHSE:- Ensure QHSE procedures are followed.- Ensure that QHSE standards are communicated to all vendors and acknowledged.FINANCE:- Ensure cost control procedures are followed for all Material/supplies Requests.-Ensure proper management and control of material inventories. Verify that cement materials are in stock or request for upcoming operations.

Candidate must have strong computer skills: Personal skills are a must as they will be getting rig updates from the drill site managers and dispatching SLB crews.Coordinator is responsible for dispatching blended cement to location and verify cement blend and calculations.
