Description We are offering a contract opportunity for a Logistics Clerk in San Marcos, California. This role is in a dynamic workplace within the logistics industry. As a Logistics Clerk, you will be responsible for various tasks related to logistics management and customer service, relying heavily on your ability to effectively utilize various software applications and systems.Responsibilities: Leverage IBM AS/400 and Microsoft Office Suites for various logistics operations Utilize the Management System to ensure efficient logistics operations Employ Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation related to logistics and delivery operations Use Microsoft Outlook for effective communication with customers and team members Employ 'About Time' software for efficient time management and scheduling of deliveries Handle Cargo operations ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods Provide excellent Customer Service addressing and resolving customer inquiries and issues Perform Data Entry tasks to maintain accurate records of all logistics operations Oversee Deliveries ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers Use your skills to improve processes, and ensure customer satisfaction. Requirements Proficiency in IBM AS/400, Management System, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, About Time software is required. Ability to manage cargo and deliveries efficiently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle customer queries and complaints. Experience in data entry and ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict adherence to deadlines. Excellent organizational skills for managing logistical operations. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with team members and clients. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and demands.
