Looking for Project and Implementation Manager to lead the execution of Deltek implementations across acquired companies.
Location: HoustonDuration: 2 Years – possible permSpecific responsibilities include:- Project Planning – Working closely with the project team and business stakeholders to define the approach, activities and timelines for project execution, leveraging project management best practices. Tailoring standard project methodologies to define pragmatic approaches for specific initiatives.
- Project Management – Applying modern project management techniques to manage a project, achieving objectives of scope, quality, time and cost; organize and lead project status and working meetings; preparing progress reports; proactively identifying and mitigating project risks and issues; managing project changes; developing relationships with key business stakeholders.
- Team Management – Holding project teams accountable for their project responsibilities and deliverables; proactively ensuring that teams are "in sync" in terms of communication, schedules, issues, etc.; developing project teams by promoting empowerment, engagement and high quality deliverables.
- Change Management – Leading the planning and execution of change management efforts that maximize employee change readiness for a variety of change initiatives
- Methodologies and Best Practices – Responsible for creating and evolving methodologies, best practices and training for Deltek implementation and integration for acquired companies.
- Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies and implementation.
- Driven, proactive and a do-er.
- A strong communicator with the ability to pull out and summarize information and tailor communication style and content for a variety of audiences. Comfortable and confident presenting to executives.
- Ability to take a consultative approach to understand requirements, drill into details, and resolve issues.
- Ability to think creatively to define innovative solutions to complex technical/business problems.
- Skilled in interpreting technical information and communicating this information to different audiences in a way they can understand.
- Skilled in building trusted relationships with team members and project stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively address and resolve conflict within and across teams.
- CLS is a fast-paced and dynamic environment; the ability to multitask on different projects concurrently and react quickly to movements in the business is critical.
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience as a Project Manager implementing Deltek
- S., Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Experience or background in Consulting.
- Experience with organizational change management.
- Experience managing projects with remote teams.
