Maintenance Helper

We are seeking a Maintenance Helper. A successful candidate must be able to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the observing mechanical devices in operation and listening to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.

Dismantling devices to gain access to remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, power tools, and safety lock-out devices.

Examining form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.

Inspecting used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.

Adjusting functioning parts of devices and control instruments.

Repairing or replacing defective parts.

Installing special functional and structural parts in devices.

Testing the performance of devices.

Lubricating and cleaning parts.

Additional duties as become necessary and/or are assigned by management

Qualifications:

The ability to work in a fast paced environment

Knowledge of and the ability to use basic hand tools

Must be able to work rotating night shifts

Must be able to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks

Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills

Additional duties as become necessary and/or are assigned by management.

1-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience preferred
