Maintenance person for apartments

We are a Houston based real estate company looking for a maintenance person to join our staff. We will need someone with their own transportation (truck preferred) and who is able to think for themselves. We manage a portfolio of several hundred apartment units all around Houston that you would be working at daily. You would be traveling to different complexes depending on the maintenance calls so reliable transportation is a must! We are a growing company so there is opportunity for growth.

You would be tasked with the following

Doing basic unit clean outs and make readies

Maintaining the landscaping on the property (trim trees, edge, mow, clean up trash etc.)

Making sure the properties are all in presentable condition

Painting of units

Basic sheetrock work

Tile/flooring work

Plus if you know how to do plumbing, a/c, electrical etc

This would be a position where you would also learn how to do certain trades as you would be trained by our more seasoned maintenance staff. We are looking for a hard worker who is able to learn.
