Maintenance Technician - Waxahachie, Tx$28-$37/hrJob DescriptionThe Maintenance Technician will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair on Material Handling Systems. This includes PLC troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Technicians will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment and components, including 3 phase motors (480v), integrated systems with PLCs, Allen Bradley PLCs (both old and new), high-speed automated sorting machines, VFDs, photo eyes, sensors, robotic equipment, gantry cranes, and 30 miles of conveyors, 4 sorters, and 12 cranes. The role also involves updating PLC PM programs and computer statuses using TMI Systems software.Hard Skills

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Waxahachie, Texas.Work EnvironmentDistribution center environment with a team of 30 multi-craft technicians at different levels including General, Sr, and Master Technicians. This is a team player environment where individuals work in groups, communicate, and offer solutions, fostering a culture of quality and reliability. The dress code includes steel toe boots, jeans, and a plain shirt.
