Responsible for ensuring residential group homes, department areas, and/or vehicles, etc., are maintenance per work orders on a regular and timely basis to meet the needs of the clients and/or employees. Residential group homes are located on and off campus, which may require driving a company vehicle.

1. Carries tools and equipment to and from storage and working areas.

2. Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.

3. Responds to work orders in a timely manner.

4. Documents all work performed on appropriate logs and work orders.

5. Assists in requisitioning supplies, parts and materials as needed.

6. Maintains A/C equipment.

7. Maintains plumbing systems, i.e., sinks, drains, and commodes.

8. Maintains environmental appearance of the campus and the group homes.

9. Assists other maintenance staff.

10. Assists in van maintenance to include tune-ups, checking fluid levels, etc.

11. Assists in carpentry, electrical, paint, framing, and sheet rock repairs.

12. Acts “on-call” in rotation with other maintenance staff. While on-call must be available for maintenance emergencies.

Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements: Valid Texas Drivers license, clear driving record. 21+ years old required. High School Graduate or equivalent. Two-three years of related experience
