Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionOrganize and facilitate maintenance of production and facility equipment. Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues. Use electrical test equipment for repair and troubleshooting. Repair and rebuild electrical and mechanical components. Install, modify, and fabricate equipment and systems to meet production needs and schedules. Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various machinery and appliances, including conveyors, hydraulics, starters, oils, motors, and pumps.Responsibilities

Organize and facilitate maintenance of production and facility equipment.

Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.

Use electrical test equipment for repair and troubleshooting.

Repair and rebuild electrical and mechanical components.

Install, modify, and fabricate equipment and systems to meet production needs and schedules.

Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various machinery and appliances.

Work on everything in the facility, from toilets to forklifts and other machinery/appliances.

Essential Skills

8+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

Experience with conveyors, hydraulics, motors, pumps, and starters.

Strong PLC troubleshooting experience, with some reprogramming ability.

Not afraid of heights (30ft+ / 8+ flights of stairs).

Must have own tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Heavy PLC experience.

Heavy troubleshooting experience with VFD & PLCs.

Experience diagnosing and repairing PLCs.

Experience with plumbing, automation, installation, mechanical repair, preventative/corrective maintenance, robotics, facilities maintenance, wiring, machine repair, industrial repair, and mechanical maintenance.

The facility has several towers with up to 8 flights of stairs. Processes include metal bending and coil coatings. The maintenance team consists of 5 people, with a total of 50 people on-site. The shift rotates between 7 am-3 pm and 3 pm-11 pm, with flexibility required as hours may pick up. Steel-toed shoes are mandatory, and other PPE is provided. The dress code includes jeans, a work shirt, and eventually a company uniform.
