It fuels our passion and drives every decision we make.Job Posting TitleManager, Accounts Payable - RemoteJob DescriptionThe Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to the Accounts Payable team, ensuring processes and controls are effective for timely, accurate and efficient payments. This position interacts closely with departments across the organization, employees, and critical third-party vendors to identify and resolve complex issues impacting payments and expense reimbursements; and will also be visible to several members of the senior leadership team. This role provides financial support to management and various departments.Responsibilities

Manage the activities relating to the execution of the Company’s accounts payable and expense reimbursement processes including the maintenance and reporting of financial records and systems required to accurately reflect the company’s financial activity and condition, including:

Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation and match of vendor payments

Advocate for the Accounts Payable team and process in cross-functional initiatives using data insights and ability to influence

Support the annual external financial audit process

Review, evaluate, and create proper internal control procedures

Contribute to an effective, timely and efficient monthly accounting close process

Manage the employee expense reimbursement and corporate credit card process in accordance with the company’s Travel & Entertainment Policy

Provide comprehensive, accurate, timely and relevant financial analysis and reporting to Prime management

Lead, coach and manage team members in order to deliver on dept. goals, coordinate workload, ensure quality, establish procedures, meet client/customer expectations and manage the costs of the services being provided

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS diploma or GED is required

6 years of work experience in Accounting or Finance

1 year of management/people leadership experience

Must be able to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

Experience with ERP financial systems (SAP a plus)

Prior leadership and/or management experience

Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Strong analytical skills

Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with US GAAP

2+ years experience managing an accounts payable and/or employee expense reimbursement process

Process improvement and/or project management experience a strong plus

Proven team player that has a customer service approach and enjoys working in a high growth environment

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear

Frequently required to reach with hands and arms

Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch

Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Reporting Structure

Reports to Director in the Finance department

Potential pay for this position ranges from $83,900.00 - $125,900.00 based on experience and skills.
