job summary:

We have a contract to hire opportunity for a Manual Quality Assurance Analyst for a client headquartered in San Antonio; this is a remote role however you must live in San Antonio metro area in order to be able to come onsite for testing.

We are looking for candidates with the following background:

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
5-7 years of IT Quality Assurance experience
100% manual testing
Experience supporting Digital teams/ Digital testing initiatives
Proficiency in software testing methodologies including test planning, test execution, gap analysis, requirements traceability, and defect management to also include testing roles, testing reports, and functional testing
Experience participating on project teams and incorporating testing activities into project plans
Experience with one or more functional/regression testing tools
Understanding of quality assurance as part of the development process
Project Management experience
Waterfall Methodology
Scrum/ Agile Methodology
Financial industry experience

responsibilities:

Define testing plans, identify gaps in requirements, and propose testing hypotheses for simple program/system changes
Identify interfacing and related programs/systems on which to execute batch and functional testing
Execute tests and validate results to determine which issues need to be addressed by the development team
Collaborate with the developer to fix issues
Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
