People like you!Job DescriptionOverview:The Manufacturing Clerk will provide administrative support to all areas of the organization including production, purchasing, human resources, safety and shipping. Reports to the Plant Manager and Plant Superintendent.Typical Functions:
Daily recording of Production Numbers/weekly corporate report.
Confirm production matches in all systems and that everything turned in from shingle line matches palletizer. Discuss any differences with the supervisor.
Calculate and record efficiencies, 2nds, hours worked, downtime so that the corporate report can be filled out for Shingle Line.
Inventory - Recording all counts for inventory, analyzing variances and reporting the findings.
Entering in transfers; freezing and entering in count groups. This is able to be done once production is done for the week.
Putting together a run schedule for lines based on input from the order center/needs shown in Mapics.
Create manufacturing orders in Mapics.
Inputting what is supposed to be made into manufacturing orders. Inputting any changes the order center asks for during the week.
Filling out the entirety of the corporate report for end of week review, excluding downtime reasons, weekly accomplishments and items to look ahead to in next 7 days.
Process rewraps of shingle bundles in Green Screen.
Receive raw materials/service items into Mapics.
Work with Accounts Payable to resolve any issues or discrepancies once invoices received.
Update and monitor Rail Reports to ensure raw materials are shipping and will arrive as needed.
Conduct inventory on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis and post counts once approved.
Prepare and distribute Monthly Supply Chain Data Reports.
Create and update Monthly Organization Reviews.
Prepare waste reports.
Process QDR’s.
Schedule and facilitate all plant visits and tours.
Maintain staff and conference room calendars.
Provide administrative support as needed.
