Material Management Engineer (Smart Materials)

• Work experience for more than 5-years work experience as an engineer in the material management related organization of contractor. (Engineering disciplines, Procurement disciplines and/or Construction disciplines)

• Originate, update and maintain analysis reports to identify issues of material constraints including, but not limited to, delivery delay, BOM and requisition issues, warehouse management issue and work packaging.
• Lead, coordinate and support all material management activities by using Smart Materials (SMat, by Hexagon) and/or related Dashboard reports
• Understand the operation, functionality and feature of SMat and analyse procurement data and forecast data extracted from SMat
• Support operation of Smart Materials to be used for material management during the project execution.
• Understand the operation, functionality and feature of Smart Materials and give the proper advices to the Smart Materials users, as required.
• Prepare the operation manuals, procedures, related to Material management.
• Carry out the operation training of Smart Materials, as required.
• Coordinates among the Smart Materials users in its operation.
• Lead the users to ensure inputting correct data set in timely manner.
• Attend/arrange meetings with the internal/external Smart Material users.
• Draft analysis report, letters or mails related to Material management work.

• Knowledge and experience of Material Management work (purchasing, expediting, traffic/logistics, etc.), preferably in Plant Construction Project
• More than 3-years' experience to use or develop Smart Materials.
