Mechanical Engineer

Genuent is hiring a Mechanical Engineer I for our direct client in Austin, TX area. This is a contract to hire opportunity. • The position includes supporting failure analysis of computer hardware and possible design tasks for a large industry customer.
• The applicant shall expect to perform and document engineering tests, troubleshoot a variety of electromechanical problems of moderate difficulty, collaborate with electrical engineers and management, and generate concise, comprehensive reports utilizing root cause analysis and data.
• Experience with 3D modeling software is expected, as well as applying engineering rigor and scientific method principles.
• Successful candidates will possess problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and diligence in analyzing problems and data.

• Applicants must have a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities are necessary.
• Previous internship or related industry experience is highly preferred.
