DescriptionICF is proud to support a global medical modeling and simulation training program. We are providing a range of healthcare training support services at U.S. Air Force installations around the world so that military healthcare teams can perform at their best. In this role you will provide oversight and management of ICF’s Air Force MMAST program. As part of the management team, you will oversee development of curriculum, learning aids, course documents and delivering medical simulation training. In addition, you’ll provide oversight of simulator equipment operation, engage with vendors to understand capabilities and support requirements, interface with curriculum managers and logistics coordinators and support conferences and events.Specific duties include:

Manage and support daily operations of the Air Force MMAST simulation training program.

Perform site visits as needed to support Air Force MMAST program activities.

Coordinate with Services and interface with DHA DMMSO.

Work cooperatively with the applicable staff elements to identify operational needs in the field.

Develop recommendations to address shortfalls and engage with client leadership to address concerns.

Support planning meetings and teleconferences and conferences.

Provide guidance to simulation sites on simulation center set-up.

As needed, interact with vendors to obtain current market research information on specific equipment to support operational requirements, and will keep management up to date on technological advances in the industry.

Provide oversight to the scenario/curriculum management during the scenario review process.

Engage with simulation operators in the field to identify and resolve issues, enhance team morale, and foster collaboration.

You will need the following:

10+ years of experience in the with the operation of patient simulation equipment

5+ years of experience working with DHA program staff to analyze and address simulation training issues, and engaging with simulation operators in the field.

Additional qualifications:

Ability to complete a federal agency check

Preferred Skills:

Associate’s degree or technical certification in a computer technology field (e.g. hardware, networking, helpdesk, etc.).

Certification as a Simulation Operator (CHSOS) through the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH)
