This is a new team and will help set the standard for future mobile development projects in other departments and brands within Centene. Collaborates closely with technical and non-technical roles to provide design, technical analysis, development/configuration, testing, implementation, and support expertise representing the interest of the business across the enterprise.Prototypes mobile applications at various levels of complexityDevelops efficient code for Android and Apple phones for enhancements and bug fixesTests and deploy mobile software solutions and process flows complying with standards, guidelines, and best practicesExecutes against project plans and delivers assignments within scope, schedule, and budgetExecutes and evaluate unit/integration tests and adopts newly approved technologies, programming languages, tools, and standardsIdentifies architectural impacts and solutions from business requirementsCollaborates to ensure application designs utilize appropriate patterns and standardsAnalyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraintsAssesses functional and nonfunctional requirements and creates designs to meet both business and technical needsProvides implementation expertise contributing to rollback, post install, data migration, and other artifacts as required including creation of support plansAdheres to security management practices and promote established security standardsAssists in other areas of the department and company as necessaryPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsEducation/Experience:A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).Requires 0 – 2 years of related experience.Or in lieu of education and experience, demonstrated work experience and accomplishments applicable to the level, duties and scope of this roleTechnical Skills:Android and/or Apple development experience requiredReact Native framework experience requiredUnderstanding of mobile application architecture patternsPreferred Skills:Xamarin or FlutterCloud experienceGitHub or CI/CD experienceSoft Skills:Beginner - Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialtyBeginner - Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsLicense/Certification:Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferredOur Comprehensive Benefits Package: Flexible work solutions including remote options, hybrid work schedules and dress flexibility, Competitive pay, Paid time off including holidays, Health insurance coverage for you and your dependents, 401(k) and stock purchase plans, Tuition reimbursement and best-in-class training and development.Centene is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity, and values the ways in which we are different.
