This role will be responsible for Supply Controller, Demand Planning and Scheduling activities for Maintenance Repair Overhaul (MRO) material or “As Required” material. The successful candidate will operate in multiple shop floor control and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) related systems to ensure alignment between material position and factory requirements. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Evaluating and coordinating program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirementsProviding status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as neededWorking daily to confirm material supply and demandsManaging 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) suppliers, data / metrics reviewsHold regular metrics review with 3PLs to ensure service level commitments are maintainedOperate as site lead / POC for these 3PLs managing relationships with partnersLead process improvement activities and cost reduction initiativesPlace material orders through various systems used to coordinate with supply chain and suppliersWorking with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product buildConducting / supporting periodic physical inventory cycle counts and inventory reconciliationSchedule and expedite the movement of parts by working with supplier and/or other manufacturing sitesThis role will work closely with the factory, supply chain and operations teams, to ensure program execution. In this role the ownership and use of metrics will be key to maintain system health and drive the level of performance that will support customer expectations.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of prior related experience. Must be a U.S. CitizensExperience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or softwareExperience working with SAPKnowledge of manufacturing processes and environmentAn understanding of the application and concepts of Production and Planning Control fundamentals including MRP, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, Scheduling, and Lean ManufacturingGood written and verbal communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with various disciplinesExperience working with Tableau, Kinaxis, and/or Business WarehouseExperience creating PowerBi dashboards and working with DAX and Power queryProficient in Excel, Power Point, Outlook/SkypeDesired Skills2+ years of procurement activity or working with supply base activitiesExperience with SQL power query and data modelingExperience building extract transform and load (ETL) proceduresExperience being accountable to track and manage budgetsExperience with Tableau, Kinaxis, Business Warehouse or PowerBIMaterial planning and order execution experienceExperience with data sets and scripting, in Access, SQL, SAP, or similar softwareAbility to understand complex systems and processesAbility to apply Lean and 6 Sigma concepts to improve departmental, factory related, and cross-departmental processesWell organized, problem solver and creative thinkerMotivated and takes on challenges with minimal direction, with the ability to see when something needs to be done and react accordinglyRequires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of projectmanagement.
