- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
Desired Skills:o Hands-on Automation/scripting skillso Certifications in Unix, Linux, Windows Operating Systems and Databaseso Understanding of iSCSI /FCP networko Basic understating of SQL, Oracle, SAP data basesResponsibilities:• Participates in the creation of global IT storage policies, standards, procedures and work instructions for implementation and on-going incident escalation support• Participate in creating secure, efficient, and highly available Storage solutions/platform for internal use• Assist / Work-on operations team, junior team members for troubleshooting escalated incidents, provide RCA and proactive incident reduction/avoidance and other proactive efforts• Manage storage hardware including Storage Appliances/Array’s and related technologies
