Need Project Planner / Scheduler develops, integrates, maintains and communicates capital projects CPM schedules. Hybrid available Worksite location: HEC Primarily but may need to work to work a day or two from either of our alliance contractor partners location (KBR, S&B, and Worley) as well as in the field if/when the project reaches that point. At that time it may be one of our local sites – CVO, LPO, BYO, others. Is this position likely to convert to a full-time role with LYB? Open to the possibility in the future. Will the interview process be an In-person or Teams conference? Teams BASIC FUNCTION: A Project Planner / Scheduler develops, integrates, maintains and communicates capital projects CPM schedules. The position can be assigned as lead scheduler on a major project ($150MM+) or on multiple large projects (+10MM) as well as specific initiatives for business studies or system/process development responsibilities. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: • Develop and maintain the logic, activities, milestones, coding structures, and resource loading required to provide fully integrated EPC project schedules. • Provide schedule, resource, and Key Performance Indictor (KPI) reporting to project teams. • Assist the Project Controls Manager in maintaining overall project and contractor baseline schedules and schedule updates that meet the LyondellBasell Project Management Process (PMP) requirements. • Assist the Project Controls Manager in developing the project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Works with contractors to ensure compliance with WBS and work packaging requirements through appropriate segregation and coding of scheduling data. • Review schedules prepared by contractors to ensure appropriate level of details and structure are applied to ensure effective progress monitoring and project control. • Review contractor change requests to assess the impact to schedules and the critical path of the project. • Assist in the development of 'what if' scenario schedules for analysis during project development. • Contribute to the development of schedule risk analysis models and analyze potential impacts using deterministic and probabilistic analysis methods as appropriate.
