Needing a Strong Line Cook/Hot Prep Chef Start Immediately

We are hiring for multiple positions for our café & established catering company inside of a professional office building.

Addison (Beltline & Tollway)

Compensation

$16+hr.

Additional hours are available for catered events at $20-$25/hour

Hours (Great Schedule!)

Monday-Friday, 7:30-3:30

OFF SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS

CLOSED ON MAJOR HOLIDAYS

Schedules can be flexible

Job Description

We are looking for a strong line cook who can:

Cook at a flat top station with a 4-burner stove to prepare breakfasts and lunches

Breakfast includes eggs, bacon, sausage, tacos, pancakes, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, etc.…

Lunch includes burgers, chicken, salmon, philly cheesesteaks, quesadillas, hot pre-prepared meals, etc.…

Garnish & dress hot foods per order

Work & maintain an organized and sanitary station

Work under quick bursts of breakfast and lunch rushes

Prep ingredients, toppings, stock par levels for daily orders

Pay careful attention to details to ensure the highest quality product reaches our customers.

Be able to move to different stations as needed.

Open/ Closing duties for the cafe

Must be able to interact with customers with a positive, upbeat attitude

Requirements

Kitchen experience is required

Assist with catered events on busy days

Must have reliable transportation or bus pass (we are located at a DART stop)

Stand for long periods of time

Comprehend English on printed tickets

Lift up to 50 lbs

Valid Food Handlers Certificate (we can help you obtain one if you do not have one)

Interact with Customers with a Friendly Attitude
