Job Title: .NET Developer Location: Fort Worth, TX Duration: 6 Months Job Description: Responsible for the development and maintenance of custom desktop and web applications. This position is responsible for the successful and on-time completion of tasks associated with all project phases (Analysis, Design, Build, Validation, Testing, Implementation, Training, and Support) as well as documentation, change management, issue management, and other project activities for the development of custom applications using the Microsoft .NET development stack. The .NET Developer will need to be self-motivated, innovative, and capable of producing efficient and appealing graphical user interfaces to drive rapid user adoption. Responsibilities: Full life cycle development of custom software (design, planning, programming, testing, and implementation), primarily using C#.NET, ASP.NET, WPF, MS SQL Server, and JavaScript Development of back-end database integrations between business and clinical systems Provide independent analysis of business needs to determine the appropriate design of custom software solutions for Windows platforms, web applications, and back-end databases Implementation of development standards and best practices to ensure the quality and testability of code libraries following Lean and Agile development principles Management of application change requests within ITIL best practices for change management Documentation of business requirements and technical designs Development of test scripts and documented use cases. Coordination with customers to test, validate, troubleshoot, and enhance applications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or any equivalent combination of education and experience Experience: 5+ years of relevant work experience in the development of .NET and SQL Server applications.
