This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced database director to work in one of the top IT shops in the country. You will work on all phases of database support related to a real-time messaging centric safety system. You'll work as part of a small, highly collaborative team of developers updating existing databases, managing static data, and developing new schemas, stored procedures, views, etcetera related to the system. You'll design, develop and maintain existing database systems (primarily SQL Server) including, but not limited to, creation of table architecture, views, functions and stored procedures. Perform Microsoft SQL Server activities like monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving database problems. Position requires 6 - 10 years of development experience in T-SQL and MS SQL Server (2008 R2 and above). Strong knowledge of systems and software development life cycles and application integration with relational databases is required. Experience working with C# or related programming language and at least 1 year application development is needed. Proficiency creating and troubleshooting stored procedures and complex SQL queries a must. Strong experience in data integration and analysis required. A working knowledge of Red Gate, TFS and other related tools is preferred.
