Network Administrator in either San Antonio Texas, Denver Colorado or Findlay Ohio. This is not a C2C opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with probability of extensions and/or hire. SUMMARYThe Network Administrator will be responsible for providing operational and technical support for infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will know how to configure, manage and support network (firewall, switches, routers) and VMware environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform network administration on switches, routers, and firewall network devices.
  • IT technologies primarily include Windows, VMware, and Cisco. Technologies include but are not limited to DCS, SCADA, PLC, Wonderware, DeltaV, & iFix.
  • Monitor network device health and identify issues using common industry toolsets.
  • Project work, developing strategy, business-as-usual tasks, compliance, and problem resolution are all part of the day-to-day role.
  • Problem tracking, management, and resolution of issues in a 24/7 manufacturing location. One will be called upon to perform duties during off-hours on occasion as needed.
  • Engage in auditing, compliance, and risk assessment processes.
  • Review and Update network diagrams to accurately represent the physical connected IP network infrastructure.
  • Daily activities may also include network device backup administration, performance tuning, change control administration, network security detection administration, and self-auditing to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Administration of network device logging to identify security or reliability issues.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure environment supporting and configuring firewalls, switches and routers.
  • Strong Networking administration and troubleshooting skills and ability to provide support for connectivity across the LAN/WAN.
  • Basic competency/understanding of being able to administer a basic Windows Server environment.
  • Solid understanding of firewall concepts and cybersecurity standards and trends
  • Solid understanding of Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
  • Good understanding of system administration & virtualization technologies
  • Availability for rotational off-hour duties to support 24 x 7 Operation
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma.
  • Ability to review, update, and implement policies, standards, and procedures

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor or Associates Degree preferred
  • Previous experience in ICS/DCS/SCADA, is a huge plus!
  • Microsoft, VMware, and/or Cisco certifications are a plus.
