Job DescriptionReporting to Manager of Infrastructure, this position will be responsible for providing network administration for the Midland, Denver, and all field offices. In addition, the successful candidate will be able to collaborate with both the Infrastructure team as well as the Applications team and communicate effectively throughout the entire Company. The Senior Network administrator will also need to be able to deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and innovative environment.Experience:- Ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related discipline
- Five (5) years of network administration in an enterprise environment (OSPF, BGP, IPSEC VPN, VoIP, QoS, WAN, Cellular, Satellite, RF, IoT)
- Five (5) years of experience in firewalls, ideally Check Point, other top vendors
- Five (5) years of experience with Cisco technologies, Juniper, Extreme, etc.
- Proven methodology for troubleshooting issues
- Proven ability to work independently or as a team to approach problems creatively and resolve them in a timely manner
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel including executive leadership, senior management, users, vendors, and subcontractors
- Experience with security audits and managing security solutions
- Experience at a publicly held company with SOX requirements is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related discipline is preferred
