job summary:

Dallas-based resource, willing to be onsite as required to Plano, TX.

Provide architectural leadership for the following towers:

  • Route Switch - Work with R&S BCS NCE & TMNA LAN/WAN team to make sure services are considered for all enterprise architectures within client's towers and end customer services that may be provided through other vendor solutions
  • Wireless - Work with Wireless BCS NCE team, TMNA Wireless team and the Clients Business to confirm wireless and LAN solutions integrate and provide cross platform validation
  • ACI/Data Center - Work with TMNA DC team and Lead BCS ACI engineer for nd-to-end design considerations based on knowledge of client's applications.
  • Security - Work with Security BCS NCE for ISE security services at TMNA, Main daily tasks will be if end user/customers escalations come in and coordinating 3rd party services within client's organization to help our teams.
  • SDA - 2 of the 12 US factories have moved to SDA and SDA will be a focus for TMNA moving Forward.
  • IOT - Position the user of client's Industrial Ethernet devices and guidance on best practices. Define requirements from Client's IS and Shop Operations (OT) teams
  • Liaise with the following Client Business Units
    • Production Engineering
    • Corporate
    • Parts Distribution
    • Application modernization units
  • Travel to business partner's production facilities for business input and data collections to provide for appropriate design and validation
  • Integrate solutions with Client's Corporation strategic initiatives for a global integrated network
  • Weekly leadership meetings with Clients and business partners
  • Internal meetings to provide sales and services team insight into Client's business needs to align initiatives and design leadership

Governance

  • Architect will have to liaise with BCS PM on a weekly basis to report the activities he/she is engaged in, for weekly reporting back to customer.
  • Architect will be responsible for monthly Architecture Review meeting/reports
  • Architect will also own content for QBRs and present the 90-day outlook as much as major accomplishment in the past 90 days.
