NETWORK ENGINEER

Horn Solutions Inc. has partnered with a local client who is looking to add a Network Engineer to support their Technology Department. This role will ensure that the company operates smoothly by monitoring and troubleshooting the network systems. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with network design, update, and support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identify problems and troubleshoot issues that with the network systems.
  • Maintain LAN/WAN/VoIP communications and network hardware.
  • Asses the network system and make recommendations for areas of improvement.
  • Formally track and monitor issues and analyze data and work with business leaders to achieve desired results.
  • Perform other essential duties as assigned.
To be a successful

Network Engineer you will need a to be process-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage projects well (following up, questioning anomalies, verifying).

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 2+ year assisting in a network support capacity preferred
  • Prior experience with Cisco Routers, gateways, and/or firewalls is preferred
  • Technically savvy with the ability to work quickly and efficiently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
