- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major in computer science, electronics, telecommunications, or related field plus a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in telecommunications network problem resolution activities.
- Responsible for installing networking technologies and supporting networks.

- Texas State Agency network administrator experience
- Experience with Cisco ASA and Fortinet firewalls
- Proficient with network monitoring & administration tools such as Solar Winds, Splunk, Tivoli Netcool/Omnibus, NNMi, Netscout Infinistream and various Protocol Analyzers and with Microsoft Office suite including Visio for network diagramming and documents.
