Description We are seeking a Network Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of networking protocols, network security, and troubleshooting techniques. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our network operations run smoothly and securely while helping to design and scale network systems to meet growing business needs.

Design, implement, and manage reliable and secure network infrastructures.

Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.

Conduct regular network assessments to identify and resolve potential vulnerabilities.

Manage and configure VPNs, LANs, WANs, and wireless networks.

Optimize network performance by fine-tuning configurations and performing load balancing.

Ensure compliance with network security policies, including setting up firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

Collaborate with the IT support team to provide network-related support and resolve network issues in a timely manner.

Maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configuration files, and change logs.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our network solutions are efficient and cutting-edge.

Perform regular backup and disaster recovery procedures related to network devices and configurations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.

Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware.

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, and other networking protocols.

Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, PRTG).

Familiarity with network security concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.

Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively.
