Network Support Engineer. Level 1 or Level 2 Systems supportJob Description:Provide L1/2 systems support and L1 networking support for engineering teams that develop enterprise server and storage products.Responsibilities:• Investigate and resolve application and network issues reported by internal customers using monitoring software, root-cause analysis and troubleshooting skills.• Support engineering departments by implementing proof-of-concept Storage/HCI appliances and reference architectures.• Support LAN with MS AD and multi-OS server environment - interface with WAN NetOps team for modifications and site-to-site integration as required.• Support engineering development, prototyping, and deployment• Execute a wide array of tasks ranging from Lab Inventory Management to CI/CD buildout and optimizationRequired Skills:• Experience with enterprise storage, server and switch products.• Experience with Linux, Windows Server, or VMWare/vSphere/vCenter.• 1-2 years of experience ideal – looking for a candidate who is willing to learn• Create and maintain lab assets.• Knowledge of HCI solutions, SDS or other converged environments [VX, Nutanix, Nexenta]. Experience with vRealize Orchestrator, vRealize Automation, Enterprise Storage, Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence)Team Environment: Highly dynamic and agile environment working across various product lines such as Hyper Converged Infrastructure, Cloud Computing Platforms, Networking Appliances, etc.This role is a critical resource for Lab, Infrastructure, DevOps, and facility related tasks
