Non-Tenure Accruing: Visiting Lecturer History Location College Station, TX Open Date 4/5/2024 Position ID 136214 Description The Department of History in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University (https://artsci.tamu.edu/history/index.html) is recruiting for two (2) part-time Visiting Lecturers (non-tenure track) for Fall 2024 with a start date of August 01, 2024 for a five month term. Part-time hires would teach one course: either U.S. History to 1877 or History of Texas. We are searching for candidates with significant teaching experience, including experience teaching survey courses in American or Texas history. Qualifications Applicants must have a Ph.D. in History or a related field in which the faculty member will teach and significant teaching experience at the college/school level.
